About the conference

The joint Conference of the African Epidemiological Association and the Ghana Epidemiological Society will bring together leading epidemiologists, public health professionals, researchers, policymakers, students, and development partners from across Africa and around the world.

As Africa continues to face emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases, climate-related health threats, and evolving public health challenges, the role of innovation, technology, and multidisciplinary collaboration has never been more critical. Conference Tracks

The conference scientific programme will be organized into five thematic tracks designed to reflect priority areas in epidemiology, disease surveillance, and health systems strengthening.

Call for Abstracts

The Organizing Committee invites researchers, public health practitioners, students, policymakers, and professionals to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations. Submissions should present original research, innovative methodologies, operational experiences, or policy-relevant findings aligned with one of the conference thematic tracks. Selected abstracts will be featured in the conference scientific sessions and may be included in conference proceedings.
